MEETING OF CREDITORS.
In Re- Montague Moses. Mr. Sherrard in tho chair. A second meeting of creditors in this estate took place at tho old Court Houso, convened by the Assignee. Mr. Vehncw gave in his report which confirmed the former meeting, aud a report upon realizing of the estate. He had received four tenders, the highest being £140, which amount Was to bo paid by promissory notos at. 3 and 6 months. Mr. Vernon in his former or first report stated, that the estate or value of tho stock after deducting all expenses, was £120. He now submitted the highesttendorfor the consideration of the creditors, whicii is £140, hut deducting the interest at 10 por cent, and Mr. Vernon's expanses, leaves a balance of £119 3s ; thus there is a difference between Mr. Vernon's valuation and the highest tonder of seventeen shillings. Mr. Tsssca said there was a good estimate by Mr. Vernon/ and that the watches bad been sold for £15 16s, which Mr. Vernon had valued at £20. It was proposed ftn'd. carried that the estate he realised by auction. It was arranged that Mr. Emanuel, who had been acting a'tf clerk, should receive 7s. 6d. in the pound. Mr. Veiin'On" proposed to Mr. Meyer, who was acting as attorney for Mr. Emanuel, senr., " That under tho circumstances of his being able to prove a partnership to the Ist of April, 1865, that Mr. Emanuel's claim should be raduced from £850 to £616," which, after come consideration on the part of Mr Meyer, was agreed to, and Mr. Vernon received his signature. Mr. Isaacs proposed, and Mr. Shbehan seconded, a vote of thanks to Mr. Vernon.-
