THE GREAT WORLD CIRCUS.

MASONIC xn; TIT. Tn u performances at this popular entertainment last evening were under the patronage of the Worshipful tlie Provincial Masters of I.C. and S.C. of Freemasonry. The house was full in every pari, but not crowded as previously had been the ease. We were pleased to observe that new arrangements had been made for the comfort of the audience, the benches in the second class part of the house having been removed, and substituted by chairs. The programme was slightly diversified, but; the tumbling aiitl ridingand gymnastic feats, were, if possible, better than heretofore. The feats were, successfully accomplished, tlie audience was as enthusiastic as ever. We observed a great well known faces from Ofahuhu and Oneliunga, who had come to witness the performances, aud contributed their quota to the applause. There was a novelty introdued in the shape of a piitif online, which was as funny and as comical ; as could lie desired. The house, the young people especially, was kept in roars of laughter. This day there will be a morning performance,; at half-past two. when a programme will be presented. designed chiefly for the entertainment of families, and those who live at at a distance.
