The cutter Aquila eleared at the Customs on Saturday for Eaipara, to load with timber for Hokitika or Grey River. The ps. Bluo Nose, which haj undergone a , thorough overhaul, proceeded down tho harbour on a trial trip, on Saturday, previous to her leaving for Waikato. The result of the trip was in every respect satisfactory. Tho s s. Ahuriri, Captain Flowel'day, waieh was to have left for Tftro.no.ln and Wanganui yesterday morning, ha? been detained for a day or two owing to some defect, in her boilor having to be remedied. Sho will take the following cargo:—l2s bags oats, 283 bags maize, 3 field ovens, I c:ise stationery, 4 cases medical storos, and one liorsa for D.A.U.G-. Jones. Tho s.s. Phiobe is duo from the Southern Porta on Wednesday morning. . The Little Fred, from Wanganui; the Fairy, from Grey River; and the Progress, from Taranaki; are hourly expected. The p.s. Princo Alfred will leavo for Waikato on Tuesday or Wednesday. Tho echoener Au ltovoir will tail for Melbourne in tho coui'sc of a few days. Tho schooner Thane of Fife is loading for the Grey Eivor, and will sail for that pert in tho course of a few days. Tlio schooncr Meteor will enter at tho Customs this morning, and will immediately discharge her cargo at tho Government Wharf.
