He was informed a steamer was in course of erection at Onehunga, which wouldbfiput between Papakuraoand Onohunga occaiomilly, provided some inducements were held out to the proprietors. Many of the settlers about expressed themselves favourable to the projected wharf, aud ho had no doubt that after »ome time it would not only prove circulating capital to all who invested, but a great boon and a convenience to the numerous settlere about Papakura.

Mr. "WoBTniNGTox thought it was a matter that should bo brought under tho notice of the Papakura Association on iiext Bitting day.

A few of the promoters guaranteed to take altogether 40 shares, bo there appears very little doubt but the ontiie would be easily got off.
