IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " Tho Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, William Beiitiiam White, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of MONGONUI, do hert.by give notice that, by virtue of a Writ hearing date the 22nd day of September, 18G5, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of the Province of Au°kland, for tho said Electoral Ditriet, and that tho NOMINA TION of CANDIDATES will take place at the Court-house, Mongonui, on TUESDAY, the 21st of Novomber, and that tho POLL (if necessary) will bo taken on TUESDAY, the 28th November.
