IN pursuance of tho provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled " Tho Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Wil liam Beutham White, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of MONGONUI, do hertby give notico that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd dav of September, 1865, issued under the hand of his Excellency tho Governor of New Zealand, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a. qualified person to servo as a MEMBER, of the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of the Province of Auckland, for tho said Electoral District, and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will tnke place nt the Court-house, Mongonui, on TUESDAY, the 21st of November, and that tho POLL (if necessary) will bo taken on TUESDAY, the 28th November.
