AUCKLAND. New Zealand Hkralp Office, Monday Evening. Mr. Samuel Cochrane'* sale of city and suburban property, to-day, was largely attended, but owing to the disinclination of those present to buy, the greater portion of the land was withdrawn. A freehold dwelling-house situated in Norlblk-streot, Fonsonbyroal, with live allotments of land, &o , was sold for £330. Two allotments near the Queen's Redoubt, Pok-eno, brought Is 2d per foot. Twelve eligiblo allotments in Lincoln-street, and Norfolk-street, ea h having a frontage of 33 feet by 100 feet., averaged from lis to 23s per foot. Messrs. Harris and Turner's sale of boots and shoes was postponed until to-day.
