ALFRED BUCKLAND RESPECTFULLY informs his FRIENDS that CATTLE can be LANDED on the Eaet Bant of the Tamaki, about one mile from the Heads, OVER THE VESSEL'S SIDE WITHOUT THH USE OF A BOAT, AND AT ALL TIMES OF THE TIDE, thereby saving the rißk and injury to the Cattle of a second time putting them in slingß, as well as tho additional cost of Boating, with the further advantage of teing at once in a GOOD PADDOCK WITHOUT ANY DRIVING. Vessels net drawing more than nine feet of water can enter and leave at all times with half-tide, and at full tides Vessels drawing fourteen feet of water can enter safely. Charts of the river, kindly furnished by Captain Burgess, can be obtained at the Haymarket. Assistance, if necessary, can at all mes be obtained on the spot. The advantages of this landing place are, that it is within six miles of the market and twenty raile» nearer the market than tho east bank of the Tamaki, thereby saving a long drive to Fat Cattle. There is no bar to cross, and good draft of water for large vessels at all times of the tide Tho landing place is opposite Brown's Island, immediately round the I Beacon at the West Tamaki Head, and within oa» hundred yards of tho shore.
