Left Port Chalmers 4.30 p.m., loth arrived at Lyttclton 16th 1.30 p.m. Strong head winds all the way. Left, Lyttolton 2.30 p.m. I7tli, arrived at Wellington 18th, 10.30 a.m. Experienced light head winds. Left Wellington 9.30 a.m. 19th, arrived at l'icton 3.45 pm. Left Picton 20th, at 2. to a.m., arrived at Nelson same day 0.45 p.m. Left Nelson 22nd, at 4 p.m., ui rived at Taranaki 8 a.m., on the 23rd left again at 7 p.m., and arrived at Onehunga at 11 u.m. While at Taranaki, about 11.30 a.m., it camo on to blow suddenly from the S.E. and was blowing a still' gale from that quarter when the Phcube loft. Dense clouds of dust almost concealcd tho town, and reaching the vessel halfblinded the people on board ; tho dischargo of her cargo was greatly retarded thereby. About midnight the -wind sliifted to tho Northward, but continued to blow with unabated violence.
