We perceive by the United Service Gazette, of the 22nd October, that Lieutenant F. Falkland is promoted to the rank of Captain, by purchase, vice W. Minster, who retires ; Ensign C. M. Churchill to be Lieutenant by purchase, vice Falkner ; E. J. Robinson, gent., to be Ensign by purchase, vice Churchill. Tho following draughts have left the camp at Colchester to join the service companies of their respective regiments :— 84 non-commissioned officers and privates of the 7Gth Regiment have proceeded to Southampton to embark for New Zealand. ________________
