The ISfli, and we hear a portion ol the 50th, proceed early next week to Wanganui. Bondmaking is to he the order of the day—and if a little fighting does arise out of the same, why then nri excuse will be made for confiscation in Wellington Province. Hitherto the diflieulty in confiscating the lands of AVellington natives lias been, said an Auckland journal, the want of rebels. The Weld Ministry has found a way to get over this diflieulty. The troops, we understand, take with them the tools necessary for roadmaking, or for entrencliing. as the case may le.
