Trayte returned from the Soutli Sea Islands yesterday afternoon after an absence of only live weeks and four days from this port. She left Ailuiaki on the 2Sth November, experiencing light variable winds throughout, and made tho passage brick in sixteen days. The Coral Queen brings the following cargo in splendid condition : SO,OOO oranges, 1,000 pines, 15 bunches green bananas, 4 hhds. oil. N. Z. S. N. Co.'s s. Wonga Wonga, Capt. Thompson, left Auckland at 2 p.m. on Saturday lart, arriving at Kawau at 6 p.m, landed passengers and luggage there, and left again at 7 p.m., arriving at Russell at 9 a.m. next morning (Sunday). Left Russell at U p.m. oiyMonday, arriving at "lvawau at 0 a.m. next morning (yesterday), and dropped anchor in this harbour at 1.30 p.m. Passengers—Mrs. Carle-ton, Mrs. Watkins, Mr. T. C. Williams, Mr. Clark, and 1: others. Tho schooner Sylph and cutler MidniyM boih arrived at Russell lit 11 a.m. on Sun.lay last. The s.s.
