Eno's noted brown horse " Honest Tom," whkh was allowed to be the b°st that travelled in his d&j. It will be seen from tbis pedigree that "Matchless " is descended, on both sides, from the very beat breed of cart horses in England, and cannot Jail in getting horses of the highest value for agricultural and dray purposes. "Matchless" was shown at the Peterborough. Agricultural Show when a yearling, and obtained the first prize, beating five others ; he also was shown at Peterborough Entire norse Show, and obtained the prize. Again, at Peterborough, in 1862, he took the prize, beating six otherß; and again, at Peterborough, in October 1563. he took the first prize of £20, beating a large field of his class—thus proving himself to be one of the best horses that England can produce. "Matchless" will stand at the following stations:— Wednesday and Thursday, Newmarket Hotel; Monday and Tuesday, Mr. Rickitt's stable, Otahuhu; Friday and Saturday, Whau Hotel: and Mr. John McLeod's, Henderson's Mill, Great Ivorth Eoad. Terms for the season : Single Mares, £5 10s.; two or more, as per agreement. Groomage at time of service, ss. each mare. All payments to be made on or before the Bth January, 1865. A.
