No person can nominate or run a horse which is not the bona fide property of a subscriber of £2 to the sports, and who is not himself a subscriber to that am unt. The decisions of the Stewards will be final. Sealed entrances, with colors of the riders and entrance money to be made to the Secretary at the Custom House before 6 p.m., on tho 7th of December, 1864. Any person gallopping his horse OTer the flat or steeplechase course alter the above mentioned time, vrill be disqualified from rill ning at the meeting. A Sweepstakes for a Duck Hunt. Entranoe ss. B U L E 8. Ist. Each boat is to keep its true and straight course during every part of a race, and the Umpiio shall be sole judge of the course. 2nd. If the Umpire bo unablo to decide which boat has committed a foul, the race shall be rowed over again. 3rd. It is t}»* province of the Umpire, when appealed to, hut not before, to decide a foul, and the boats decided by him to have committed a foul, shall bo distanced. 4 th. The decision of _the Umpire shall in all cases be final, and any competitor refusing to abide thereby shall be distanced. sth. The decision of the Committee with regard to the designation of boats, and all other matters, except those referred to in the preceding Bulai, shall ) final. RULES FOR SAILING BOATS. Ist. A boat on the port tack shall give way to one the starboard tack. 2nd. A boat sailing free to give way to ono close hauled. 3rd., Two boats close hauled on the same tack standing in to the shore, should the leeward boat find it abselutoty necessary to tack to prevent going ashore, and lias not room to do 60, without fouling tlio -windward boat, it must hail the latter to that effect, and the windward boat must either tack herself or pass to leeward of the other.
