Ouk readers are rwyrc that the Southern members limvc nearly all arrived in Auckland. In tlie course ot'yesterday his Excellency, as is usual in such cases, desirid the late IMinistry to suugest the name of sonic member of the Assembly 011 whom the duty ot forming a new Ministry should devolve. Mr. "VVeld was named/and that gentlfman had a long interview with his Excellency, which resulted in the expression of his determination to onciea\our at once to form a ministry. 'Ihe names of ifr. Crosbie Ward and of Mr. Fitzgerald have been associated with that of the member for Cheviot. As the Southern members have determined to take matters entirely into their own hands, we have little dcubt hut that Mr. Weld will be successful in his (Tideavows.
