Sterling, Mr. T>rown, Blr. Sve, and Mr. Stowo."—Carried unanimously. Proposed bj* Mr. Mu.i.rr, and seconded by Mr. J. ir.Mtuis, and carried, "That Mr. Khodes bu elected Secretary." Proposed by Mr. "Wilson, ami seconded by Mr. Thomi'son, "That Mr. JSlowe bo appointed Treasurer."*— Carried. Proposed by Arr. Stowk and seconded by Mr. llauius, "That Mr. Bnwring be umpire.*'—Carried. It was agreed that the markers should be appointed on the ground by the players. Knir.mce was fixed at 10s., to be paid on or before the night of the 17th "November, when the names and sides of the players wpl be drawn. The game to be played at tlie distance of twenty-one yards, clay end's, twenty-one up : ami to commence at 9 o'clock a.m., of Friday, the 18th day of November. The following rules were adopted :—• 1. In the case of dispute for the cast, tlie measure to lie taken from the top of tlie pin. 2. No pei>on to run down the ground while the quoits are being tin own. 15. All disputes to be settled by the umpire. •{. No dirt to be removed in the case of measuring fu ithe cast.
