A correspondent tells us how to make soldiers grow. There his some sense in his proposition. He says:— " Change your manner of paving the soldier, and let his pay be sure to rise with length of faithful service, and you will not only got as many recruits as you want, but you will keep them till they grow into veterans. If the principle were fully cari'ied out we are afraid ' we ehould have to keep them too long.—Court Journal.
