John Bclsher was charged by Isabella ]. el slier, his wife, with having deserted lier and leaving her in a destitute condition since the month of .April last. Bis "Worship advised- the defendant to make some arrangement with his wife for supporting her, but the defendant manifesting an unwillingness to do so, was fined £5, and ordered to pay his wife the sum of 15s. per week.
