(Before Thomas Beckham, Esq., R.M.) DIIUXKAKDS. Patrick Heady and Daniel JJrigcoll, charged with the above oflenec, were fined 20s. and coats, or the usual alternative.
DESERTION". John Delaney was brought up under warrant chargcd with desertion from tho 68th regiment. The accused stated he had enlisted at Leeds in Yorkshire. The Bench ordered the prisoner to be handed over to the military authorities. TUItEATB.Vf.VG LAXG UAG E. William Read was charged by Charles Monkton with having used threatening language to him, whereby he was afraid for his personal .safety. Jf Cox appeared ibr the prosecutor. The accused pleaded guilty to tho charge, and staled that, lie intended to show he had just cause for doing so. by exposing the complainant in another form iu Court. The accused was bound over in his own bond of £100 to keep the peace towards the prosecutor lor six months.
