AUCKLAND. Yesterday, Messrs. Jones & Co. sold a quantity of landed property, by order of tlm Registrar of the Supreme Court". The following is tho report:—Part of lot 19, parish of Pukctoho, 1'23 acres, £3 7s. Gd. per aero ; Mount St. Mary, Ijondon-street, lots lfi-l and 165, 39/ per foot; Ahuroa, lot 56 and part of 57, 120 acres, 1/ per acre. Messrs. Stichburv and Son's grocery sale, held on Tlunsday last wasweil attended, and tho bidding was brisk, and satisfactory, considering the present glutted etato of the market. The following were tho prices obtained :—Washing soda, 15/ per ewt. ; palad oil, 9/10 to 10/; liair oil, 9/6.; red herring, 2/7 ; oatmeal, pearl barley, 3d.; mustard, 9 VI.; muscatels, lOd.: figs, BJd.; citron peel, 1/3; ginger, 1/4 ; nutmegs, 2/3; ground cinnamon, 1/9; mixed spices, 1/10 ; stnrch, ; sardines, 6/; Barcelona nuts, 56/ per cask: blacking (bottles) 4/; baking powder, 5/'J; table salt, 7/0 : American brooms, 17/; clay pipes, 2/6 to 3/ ; tumblers, 3/6 ; goblets, 3/9 ; iron tacks, /5 to /'6 ; magnetic hammers, 10/ per do/..; ginger beer corks, 1/6. Yesterday, iMossrs. Ridings and Dowden held an extensive drapery sale, which, notwithstanding the inclement state of tho weather, was well attended, and lasted until an advanced hour in the day. Tho report will appear in our next. Mr. S. Cochrane sold yesterday as follows :-~Oregon salmon, /o to /4 ; raisins (damaged), -1/'!) per box; loaf sugar, /5 ; onions, /1A : bran, l'S per bushel; lemons, 1/2 per doz. ; Wellington butter, /10-i to /'ll.

Yesterday, Mr. George Sibbin held a miscellaneous sale at his stores, Queen-street. Owing to the unfavourable 6tate of the weather, there were not many present, and the sale did not pass off so satisfactorily as might bo o.xpectcd.

AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. JtRSSHB. STYAK AVI) HUNTEIi's WEEKLY IiKPOKT. Horses.—There was a better show of horses than usual, apd many changed owners. None of first class quality, however, came forward. Prices ranged from £10 10s. to £30. The mules advertised, nil sold at fair prires, at £15 to £21. Fat Cattle.—Very few in market, and prices not so high rs prerious weeks, bullocks £10 10s., to £15 ; cows, £10 to £11. Fat Sheep.—The supply was sufficient in numbers, but tlie quality not superior, no diminution in rates whs perccptibli — prices 295. Gd. lo 365. Dairy mid Store Cattle were brought, forward in considerable numbers and there was a fair demand, but there were no first class dairy cows exhibited ; we quote dairy cows £11 to .CI4 ; »torc do., £7 ss. to £9 ; heifers and steers, £2 ss. to £7. Store Sheep.—None in the market. Pigs.—None in the market.

MB. ALFRED BTXCKLAND'S WEEKLY KEFOTCT. Mr. A. Buckland reports that at the Uaymarket, on Saturd ay last, a large quantity of grain 1500 hags principally oats, were disposed at the following prices:—Oats 3s. to 3s. 6d. ; maize (is. to 6s. 9d.; barley, 3s. Gd. to 3s. 9d, ; bran, Is. 9d. to 25.; rye grass, 13s. to 15s. Gd.; prairie grass, 3s. the bushel. Draught Horses dull of Eale, but hacks in better demand, but there were not many sold. There is an improved demand for store calAe ami higher prices are obtained, there is not so much stock of this description ill the market as we have, usually at this season of the year, dairy cows fetched better prices, best animals from £17 to £20 each. A faireupply of fat cattle sold at last week's rates, best animals fatted ill the province bringing about 60s. the 100 lbs. Fat Sheep, in Miort supply, many of the pens brought from lid. lo Is. the lb.; fat lambs from 28s. to 325. each. Pigs were in fair supply and ol'gnod quality, those lliat were tit for slaughter brought extreme prices.
