The features thus enumerated show that great variety is aimed at, but this variety itis hoped will bo pervaded by oneness of design, each detail having its appropriate place, and its due bearing upon tliegcneral result. For the production and conduct, of this journal the service? of a numerous and competent Stalf of Literary and .Artistic Contributors have been secured, and (lie several departments indicated will each be presided by a gentleman of acknowledged ability. Tlio Publisher is also fully conscious of the important advantages to be derived from the literary contributions of the general public, and he will gladly insert such articles or sketches as may be forwarded to him on subjects of local or general interest.
