QUEEN'S REDOUBT.
[FKOJI OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] August 27. Considerable changes aro taking place, or about taking place, in the disposition of the troops in this district. thi; redoubts arc about being abandoned. The detachment of tho Ist Waikato Ho iinent stationed at 'Whungamarino are to march to-morrow to this station, to proceed from hcncc en route to Tauranga, and settle upon their allotments at that place. The detachment of tlio same regiment at Rhode's Clearing will also leave that redoubt on Monday next, and join the party marching for Whangamarino. "Williamson's Clearing is also to be abandoned, and troops stationed there will also move to Tauranga, no other troops taking their places. It is expected that the 50th Regiment will shortly be relieved at this post by the -13rd, and that their destination -will bo Taranaki. The body of tho unfortunate man of tho 65th Regiment named Flanagan, who some two months ago was drowned at Rangariti by walking over the side of the Flat, was found off the J3lnff, and was intorred by a funeral party of the 50th llegiment with military honours to-day.
