QUEEN'S REDOUBT.
[from OUit OWN CORRESPONDENT.] July 19. A detachment of the 70tli regiment, about ninety strong, arrived here yesterday from Kangiriri, and marched away this morning en route for Otahuhu, their head quarters, so that none of that regiment arc stationed south of that post at present.
A company of tlie 4th Waikato Regiment passed through this station for Koheroa yesterday, Thev arp stationed at that stockade for the present. A good many whares are springing up in tho vicinity of the redoubt, and several of the fair sex have honoured lis with their presence. We may expect in a short time the place will present a coill paratively civilised appearance.
