Have received instructions to sell by auction, at Brunswick Buildings, on SATURDAY, the Oih July, ut 12 o'clock sharp, NUMBER OF VALUABLE BUILDING ALLOTMENTS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF POKENO, reserved at the last sale of Pokeuo by the owner, as being the best and most valuable business sites in tho township. 6 very valuable allotments in Seo. 41 of Township of Pokono, adjoining tho Queen's Redoubt, and fronting Brown-street and the Great South Roud. 2 v«jry valuable Allotments opposite corner of Browu-street and tho Great South Road, - That piece of land upon which tho Queen's Redoubt stands. It commands 51G feet frontage to the Great South Road, from which it lia3 a depth of 25 feet to tho ditch —tho ditch is 16 feet wido —after which it lia? a depth of 48 yards from tho bastion on the west side, and about 11 yards on tho east. About £2,600 worth of property belonging to Government has beon erected on this piocc of land, and 3 years' arrears of rent arc due for occupation. A piece of reserved land, containing about 2 acres, fronting tho Great South Road and Grey-street, and opposite the Queen's Redoubt. This reserve has a frontage of about 118 feet to the Great South Roud, by nearly a quarter mile in depth, and is bounded on two sides by tho Creok. The frontage of this reserve will bo sold together with Mr. M'Lean's Canteen, (72 feet by 16 feet,) which stands upon this allotment, close to tho bridgo over the crook, fronting the Groat South Road, The Canteen is substantially built of slabs and shingled, and cost over X'loo. This is a most desirable site for business, a3 the whole traffic must pass here. The proprietor ha 3 been repeatedly askod to let it for business purposes, and even for stabling £2 a week was offered as rent for it. Allotment in Grey- street, 33 feet by a depth to Wliiora Creek. The allotments in tho next block to Grey-street fronting the same road, roalized at the last sale of land at Pokeno 18a. per foot. A piece of reserved land, containing about an acre situated at the end of Ford-street, bounded by the Whiora Creek, and on which there is sufficient water power to drive a mill. Also Tho very valuable property adjoining the township. The Great South Road intersects and divides this property throughout into 4 sections or small farms, viz.:— The Ist lot will be tho Homestead, House containing 10 rooms, with outhoußes, Stockyard, Piggeries, Fowl Houses, &c., and about 200 slabs sawji in the yard, and ready to put up a stable. The House is admirably adapted for a Bush Hotel, or -House of Accommodation. The Land to bo sold with the House comprises about 8 acres, well fenced, and commanding a frontage to the Great South Road of 150 yards. It is divided into Garden and Orchard, a neverfailing: Creok running through it, and planted with choice Peach and other Fruit Trees. Lot 2 is a Triangular Paddock, fenced in, and next to Homestead Garden : it contains about 20 acres, and has a frontage of a mile to Great South Road, extending as far as tho junction of the Havolock and Great South Road. Lot 3 commences from tho west side of Pokenostrecfc, and lias a large frontage to tin; Groat South Road containing about 28 acres. Lot 4 has a large frontage to the Great South Read and Havelock Road: it contains about 15 acres. Capitalists, look at the extent of frontage this property commands to the Great South Road. In a few years the value will have increased JoO fold. This truly valuable property has now to ho sold under distressing circumstances, and it is to bo earnestly hoped that public competition will prevent so really a Valuable property being sacrificed.
