Have receivod instructions to sell by auction, at Brunswick Buildings, 011 SATURDAY, tho 9tli July, at 12 o'clock shurp, NUMBER OF VALUABLE BUILDINGALLOTMENTS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF POKENO, reserved ut tlie last sulo of Pokcno by the owner, as boiug the best and most valuable business sites in tlie township. 6 very valuable allotments in Sec. 41 of Township of Poiionoj adjoining the Queen's Redoubt, and fronting Brown-street and the Great South Road. 2 very valuablo Allotments opposite corner of Brown-street and Mis Great South Road. That piece of land upon which tho Queen's Redoubt stands. It commands 516 feet frontago to the Great South Road, from which it has a depth of 25 feot to tho ditch—tho ditch is 1G feet wido—affcor which it has a depth of 48 yards from tlie bastion on the -west side, and about It yards ori tho oast. About £2,500 "worth of property belonging to Government lias been erected on this piece of land, and 8 years' arrears of rent, are duo for occupation. A piece of reserved land, containing about 2 acres, fronting the Great South Road and Grey-street, and opposite the Queen's Redoubt. This reservo has a frontago of about 118 feet to the Great South Road, by nearly a quarter mile in depth, and is bounded on two sides by the Creels. The frontago of this reserve •will be sold together with Mr. M'Lean's Canteen, (72 feet by 16 feet,) which stands upon this allotment, close to the bridge over tho creek, fronting tho Great South Road. The Great Soutli Road intersects and divides this property throughout into 4 sections or small farms, viz.: — The Ist lot will be the Homestead, House containing 10 rooms, with outhouses, Stockyard, Piggeries, Fowl Houses, &e., and about 200 slabs sawn in the yard, and ready to put up a stable. Tho House is admirably adapted for a Bush Hotel, or House of Accommodation. Tlie Land to be .sold with the House comprises about 8 acres, well fenced, and commanding a frontage to the G-reat South Road of 1/50 yards. It is divided into Garden and Orchard, a neverfailing Creek running through it, and planted with choice Peach and other Fruit Trees. Lot 2 is a Triangular Paddock, fenced in, and next to Homestead Garden : it contains about 20 acres, and has a frontage of a | mile to Great South Road, extending as far as tlie junction of the Havelock and Great South Road. Lot 3 commences from the west side of Pokenostreet, and Ims a large frontage to the Groat South Road containing about 28 acres. Lot 4 lias a large frontage to the Great South Read and Havelock Road: it contains about lo acres. Capitalists, look at the extent of frontago this proporty commands to the Great South Road. In a few years the value will have increased 500 fold. This truly valuable proporty has now to bo sold under distressing circumstances, and it is to be earnestly hoped that public competition will prevent so really a valuable property being sacrificed.
