sir. bccklakd's wkekly keport. During the past week there has not been so many horses brought, forward, and prices improved, particularly for heavy draft. Maize brought from 5/3 to 6/9. Danish oate 4/G. Bran 2/2 \> bushel. The cattle market has been fully supplied by the recent importations, and but few of our provincial cattle have been offered for sale. There is a steady enquiry for quiet store cows ; other descriptions of store cattle are dull of sale. The cargo of the barque ' Aleota' at auction brought an average of £9 155., tho best of the cattlu bringing from £11 to £15, and the balance £8 each. Tie pick of the ' Adelaide Bell's' cargo wero sold at £14 and £12 each, and a herd of 350 store oxen at £7 each. The sheep market has been well supplied with store stock and prices are rather higher. Fat sheep are scarce and brought at the auction fully Bd. per lb. A large supply of fat pigs realized full rates.
