VOLUNTEER RIFLE SHOOTING IN THE SOUTH.
From the files of Southern papers receiveed on Saturday, by the ' Airedale, we extract the following particulars relative to the points made by the competitors for the Government Prizes in some of the Southern Provinces. We have only extracted the scores of 20 points and upwards : —-
From Wellington we learn that, at the prize firing on the 27th. Sergeant Tzard. No. 2 Company, Wellington Militia, scored 27 points, the highest score yet made in that Province.
