DRUCY.
[j-'ROM OUr. OWN COIIRKsrO.VDE.NT.] April 12. The public will be surprised to learn that men on duty from inland redoubts to Drury are allowed to purchase and take to the redoubt they are bound for bottles of spirits; neither should they be allowed their side arms when they have such an opportunity to get drunk themselves. Only Inst night about a mile beyond Drury I passed a man with his bayonet drawn, so drunk, that he did not know what he was doing, threatening to " run anyone he met through," &c. He had in his haversack three case bottles of brandy, and one of the square case bottles of other spirits. General Golloway and several other military gentleman were in Drury yesterday, determining on a site for the Camp to be shifted on. I noticed all the gentlemen tasting the water at various places, good water for the troops easily accessible will thorofore form one of tho principal points in the selection of the Camp ground. The convoy under the charge of the Military Train numbered 43 carts.
The ' Dart' arrived, and was discharged yesterday afternoon. No other vessel at the Wharf.
