The Native Rebellion.
DKUIIY. [hKOM OUE OWN COEItE3rOSDK2>'T.] March 11. Detachments consisting of 1 efficor and 111 men of tho 12th regt.; 4 officers and 52 men of the GSth ; and 6 officers and 101 men of the 43rd regiment arrived at Drury yesterday, and largo marques were erected for them in the Artillery camp ; Hie whole left this morning for the Queen's ficdoubt. Tho head quarters of the 'i.'ird have left here also, Colonel Booth in command. Major Tighe is therefore the senior officer at Drury. The convoy, consisting of-15 carts, proceeded at tho same time to the front. Tho Maori Queen, Wairon, Sea Shell, Progress, and Dart, arrived here yes! vday, and ave all away, with tho exception of the Dart, w.liich is loading with coal. There arc reports that tho man who was drowned by tho upsetting of a boat near the Queen's liedoubt had met his death tlirough foul play, but I find that the evidence adduced at thu inquest," held before C. Melso]),_Esy., attlmt station, proves that it was purely accidental; the deceased, who was steersman of the boat, wished to take an oar, and in changing seats with one of his companions fell overboard.
