It is reported that Captain Hughes one of the proprietors of the Moonta Mines, is going to England. The I!ev. Messrs. Trivale letters received here give the following statement of the value of samples of cotton grown in this colony, the samples being vidued by Liverpool brokers—(jreorg.ann, grown by Messrs. Browne at Tort Crawler, its. 2d.; sea island cotton, bv the same growers, 3s. Sd.; Tauumbti, 3s. 2d.; other samples, 3s. Cd. to -is., the lowest value is Is. 9d., but uiosf samples are valued at high priees. Every parcel of flour available for delivery within the next week or ibrtn/gftt has hern purchased from £11 to £13., the latter being given for good silk dressed. "Wheat, is. Sd.
