Placed on the Cofliii. Pall Bearers: Mr. Jones, R.E. Ensign Green, lltb. regt. Lieut. Hobbß,'loth regt- Stall-Art. Surgeon o'C<3nnclL Chief Mourner!): Lieut.-Colonel Nelfon. -10th regt. Lieut. Burton, -10th regt. Dr. Dempster, Staff-Assisumt Surgeon. Royal Kngineera. , Royal Artillery. Otlioers of Auckland Volunteers and Militia.. Officers of the Army and Xavy. The Private Secretary. Clerk of Executive Council. Tho Attorney General. Major General Galloway. His Dicelltncy Governor Sit Greoi-ge Grey, K.C.B. Oil arriving at the cemetery, the body was met by tlie Rev. Mf. Kinder, Garrison Chaplain, who read the Burial Service. The waa in immediate contiguity to that of Colonel Austen.
