THISTLE NOTICE. ~VT"OTICE is hereby given to the owners of land X\ situated in the Wairoa, Papakura, Drury, I'ukekolii, Mnuku, and Waiuku districts, that arrangements have been made whereby labour can bo obtained for the purpose of eradicating noxious thistles in the above districts, under the protection of covering parties. Persons wishing to avail themselves of the above means of having their land cleared of noxious thistles must applv to the undersigned without delay. F. C. LEWIS, Inspector of Thistles. IN accordance with a resolution of the City Board of Commissioners, I have to request a Public Meeting of the Citizens to be held in the Brunswick Hull, on MONDAY the lth January next, to consider tho propriety of forwarding an address to Her Majesty the Queen against the proposed removal ol' the Seat of Government, and to adopt such other measures as may be resolved upon.
