The heavy rain of yesterday prevented parties accompanying the. convoy to the Queen's It*, doubt. This morning has turned out fine, and the weather bids fair once more to be favourable, ft is most liltely that the severity of the weather yesterday will have greatly interfered with the object of the bush scouring expedition in the Wairoa ranges. There is very little news to report, here to-day. The discharging of commissariat goods goes on very extensively, and shows that the war is meant to be carried on vigorouslv to subdue the rebels.
A p'turn cricket match has been arranged between Drnry and Papaknra, to como oil' at the latter plsice on Wednesday next.
