The 5.3. ' Rangatira,' Cuptaiii Mundle, arrived in lUe Manukau from the Sou! h yesterday afternoon. Site left Nelson at 3 o'clock an Wednesday last, mid experienced heavy weather throughout the passage. She brings papers to the following dates: —luvereargill, November 25th; Dunedin, 2(ith ; I._i> ttclton, 28th ; Wellington, 3<lth ; Picton, Ist December; Nelson, 2nd; and Taranaki the 3rd, and Sydney papers to the 25th ult. The subjoined is a list of her passengers : —Mr. A. J. Richmond, M. 11. 11. ; Messrs. Veins, Reid, and Lieutenant Pizzcloe, from Taranaki; Mr. Alaekav, Native Department, Miss llozelden, and 15 volunteers from Nelson ; and live soldiers belonging to the semaphore signal-staff, from New Plymouth. The barque ' Kato,' Capt. Sherlock, was on the berth at Sydney for tiiis port on the 20th ult., to sail with despatch.
