N.B. —The equitable principle of Annu : ty and Endowment policies, receiving the benefit accruing on these branches of the businrss is almost peculiar to this Society. It generally goes to enlarge the bonuses of assurance policies. If the same course were adopted by the Australian Mutual Pkovident Societi' the result would be u still greater advantage to its assurance policy-holders that is exhibited in the foregoing comparative statement.
attention of assurors is requested to the following important privileges granted to the members of this Society, and to them only. All its Policies are protected against the operation of the Insolvent Laws, after a certuin term on a gradually increasing scale. Policies cllcuted by married women are protected against tYie debt and control of their lmsbauds. The Families of Assurers for small sums are saved the expense of letters of administration. Prospectuses, forms of proposal, and even- information may be obtained from any of the Society's Agents, or Medical Referees in the Australasian Colonies, or at the Principal Oilice.
