It is also requested that such sweepings may be deposited in a box to be placed near the edge of the pathway.
As much damage and expense have been heretofore paused by such sweepings being swept into the gutter, thereby choking up the drains, the Board rarnestly hopes that in future parties will see the propriety of desisting from such a practice, and aid the Board in their efforts to improve and cleanse the streets.
