[From the ' Sydney Morning Herald's' Telegram.] YASS. November 13, 2 p.m A bout five o'clock yesterday evening three mounted and armed men stuck up Mr. William Brown's residence, Mr. Wheat-lev's, and Mr. Townsend's stores at Dal ton, Jerrtiwa Creek, eighteen miles from Yass. They en fried oii" over £100 worth of property, three horses, live saddles, two guns, and one revolver. The bushrangers remained three hours at Townsend's public house; and it is said they left there nearly drunk.
Friday, 5 p.m. The three bushrangers who stuck up the "village of Dalton yesterday are supposed to be new hands. A report has reached here that they made a number of travellers prisoners, one of whom planted his money in his saddle; but the bushrangers took both horse, saddle, and money. They also helped themselves treely to grog at Townsend's publie house, as well as giving it away liberally. CAPE OTTWAY. Nov. 12. Passed at 4.30 p.m., Colonial Empire, sliip, from London to Sydney, ninety days out. Desired to be reported. MELBOURNE. Nov. 12. The Escorts hare brought 21,637 ozs. of Bold. Ar the Port Phillip Farmers show the finest sheep were exhihited to-day ever on view in the colony. The City of Melbourne (s.) for Sydney, sailed toda\. Mr. De Mestre, his trainer (Cutts) and jockeys, als > his horses Archer and llaidec were on board. liusiness generally dull. A sale of cargo of deals, ex.
