NOTICE is hereby given that on tlie mornings of Tuesday and Friday in future, two carts will be sent to cart nway the shop-sweepings in Queen-street, Shortland-street, and Princes-street, commencing on TUESDAY, 24th day of November, ISG3.
One cart to start at the head of Queen-street, and the other at tho head of Princes-street, precisely at 8 o'clock a.m. It is also requested that such sweepings iuay be deposited in a box to be placed near the edge of the pathway. As much damage and expense have been heretofore caused by such sweepings being swept into the gutter, thereby choking up the drains, the Board earnestly hopes that in future parties will sec tho propriety of desisting from such n practice, and aid the Board in their efforts to improve and cleanse the streets.
