Her first foal, the " Black Prince" (half brother to the "Iron Duke"), at three years old took the prize for dray horses at the Royal Agricultural Society's Exhibition at York, against horses of all ages ; and injtlie same year he won the Highland Agricultural Society's silver medal, at Edinburgh. fT " Iron Duko" was exhibited and won the first prize at the Meeting of the Leicestershire Agricultural Society, against all horses, whan barely two years old.
