The branded animals uot claimed within fortyeight hours, and all unbranded ones, will be slaughtered for the use of Her Majesty's troops. Fivepence per pound for the actual quantity of meat produced will subsequently be paid to whoever produces CERTIFICATES from the Resident Magistrate, or other COMPETENT PROOF of his ownership of any particular animal.
