The public anniversary meeting will be held on Monday evening in the High Street, on which occasion Mr. Joseph Newman will preside, and reports will be received and addresses delivered by several of the ministers. from the Mission districts. • SpbRTXNC Dogs.—Mr. Hobbs, of-Queen Street, has just imported: a couple of pointers, (male and festsale) of the highest breed, by the " Reliance," from Hobart Town. The dog has-a. very high pedigree. His . sire. took the first, prize at the Tasmanian dog show, 1862, having been. got.by .Colonel Snodgrass , "Major," an imported, dog of the best blood; his grand dam waa imported into Tasmania by Golonsl Cumberland, from the keniiel of.the Earl.of Oefton.
