ABSENTEEISM.
Those who wish to see the effects of absenteeism had better call at our office, and inspect the maps of Manawatu and Port Nicholson. The unselected sections are coloured green ; the absentees, black ; the native reserves, yellow ; and the sections belonging to the unfortunate settlers remain white.
