WINES AND SPlßlTS.— Besides the usual •simply of wines and spirits, there is a considerable 'inantity of Scotch Whiskey; andalitnited .piantity of Colonial Whiskey. BOOTS AND SHOES.— There has been received a quantity of Wellington boots and Warren's blacking. BLANKETS. — Fresh arrivals have come to hand in 8-4 and 11-4, of various qualities and prices. HABERDASHERY.— There is a select but limited quantity on hand, including tapes, threads, black and coloured sewing silks and twist, darning cotton, needles, combs, India ■?ilk and cotton handkerchiefs, braces, &c. DRAPERY.- -White cotton shirting, stout unbleached cotton, 40in. wide, cotton checks, .lark prints. &c. &c. OIL AND LAMPS.— This latter has received an increase of the best quality that has yet been offered in the Colony. There has also come to hand a small lot of straw hats, sou' westers, Scotch caps, umbrellas, &c. CLO THING, consisting of Jackets in beaverteen, corduroy, and duck ; waistcoats, in swandown and beaverteen ; duck trowsers, &c. ; reyntta, unbleached cotton, & stout striped shirts ; Guernsey frocks, shirts, blue and red serge ditto, cotton and worsted hose. TO THE RETAIL TRADE. i Mr. Telford has peculiarly favourable attractions for the Trade in An extensive supply of rice, Raw suirars. STATIONERY, consisting of day books, pocket ledgers, note, memorandum, and pass books, writing paper, ink, slates, slate pencils, &c. Ticking. A few sets of scales and weights still on hand. SNUFF.— Mr. Telford announces a fresh arrival of this article, in various superior qualities ; and snuff boxes at moderate prices. November 9, 1840. FENCING POLES. 1/TR. TELFORD is authorised to receive j-VX orders for this article, to be delivered at Lowry Bay, the Beach at Petoni, oratWellington. HOUSE FOR SALE. That well finished and water tight Wooden House, occupied by Mr. Grace; 14 feet square, and 7i feet high in the walls. It is the best model of a comfortable small house yet built in the Colony. TELFORD has arranged to have a weekly maiiket on MONDAY and SATURDAY EVENINGS, at his Warehouse, from 4 to 7 o'clock, being intended chiefly for the accommodation of Workmen's Families.
