SUPERFLUOUS HAIR. LATEST AMERICAN TREATMENT. That hair can be successfully and permanently removed ,by electrolysis is n6w ah established fact. - It was not until the year 1879 that Dr. C. E. Michel of St. Louis, U.S.A., devised a method of removing hair by means of .electrolysis. America is, therefore, the home of. this treatment, and' it waa at one of the leading institutions in that country- that Mrs Rolleston secured her diploma ten years ago, having been trained personally, by; -Dr. A. Rhodes, of Boston. Mrs Rolleston is recognised as the most successful operator in Australasia, arid , the leading authority where disfigurements caused by the growth of hair or moles are concerned. Her experience is based on a thorough knowledge of the electrical current required, and on sound medical training—hence her successful treatments, which are executed without the slightest scar or blemish remaining, and the hair is removed for all time. • Mrs Rolleston has just returned from America, the visit being expressly made to further the most up-to-date appliances and newest methods in her profession The latest method of electrolysis has been m use for the past month,- and without exception all who have received treatment state that there is much less _ discomfort than by the ! singleneedle, and hair can be removed in one-fourth the time. This method is specially convenient for many who come from a distance for the express of having superfluous hair reHowever few hairs you may be troubled with, Mrs Rolleston's advice is to iiav.e them instantly taken out. . The very worst and most distressing growths begin with a few hairs; often they are pulled by tweezers, or cut, both methods increasing the growth rapidly. The heaviest growth can be permanently removed by electrolysis. It requires patience, certainly ; but regular weekly or fortnightly treatments ot an hour have proved to hundreds how worth-while it is, and that electrolysis is absolutely tile onlv permanent cure. " Mrs Rolleston's rooms are at No 258 Lambton Quay, Wellington; and also in Dominion Buildings, Cathedral Square, Christehureh. .
