Wellington is to be honoured this month with a public schools swimming championship, open to hoys and girls from any schools in the Dominion. Ihe New Zealand Swimming Association is arranging the matter, but so far I have not read of any efforts being made by the Wellington Centre to sort out the local representatives.•lies -Darcy, the Australian champion boxer, who did "the Pacific slope," has been matched to fight Al. McCoy, the alleged middle-weight champion of the world. The date or venue of the match was not mentioned in the cable received by Snowy Baker, of Sydney, with the above information.
