1. Just prior to the Dublin riots Koger Casement and two other personß were landed on the Irish coast by a German submarine in a collapsible boat. Our picture shows the type of collapsible boat used by submarines. 3.' With the near approach of the new daylight-saving law in England the children in many of the schools were taught its meaning and utility. The ingenious clock diagram here shown with the hours indicated an hour in advance was used in connection with the ordinary watch to explain the new time.

On the island where the Kaiser had his summer resort, —This photograph, taken , recently on the island of Corfu, shows three Greeks being brought in by French guards for stealing from one'of the camps. - . 4. Girls as bricklayers.—The work of women, owing to the scarcity of men, appears to be unlimited, and their resourcefulness unbounded. The three girls shown in this picture, in addition to farm work, undertake that of rebuilding, as brioklayers, dilapidated parts of the farm buildings where they are engaged. —Newspaper 111., Ltd.
