Competition.-'-.-:: I In view of the New Zealand Free Lance Christmas Annual for 1915, we have pleasure in offering a Prize of Five Guineas for the best original. Christmas story. Let the scenes be laid preferably in New Zealand, give the tale a true Christmas atmosphere, make it racy of the soil, and spice it with plenty of fun and merri- • ment. If the story-teller chooses to lay his scene among our boys at the Dardanelles he will still conform to thß conditions. One of the conditions of the contest is that the Editor shall be at liberty to gratuitously publish any of the stories that he may selact for that purpose. Note. —The length of the story should occupy about three and a-half columns, of the Fiiee Lance Chbistmas Annual—approximately, 2000 words. This contest will close on Saturday next, November 6th. Competitors had better hurry up with their tales. -
