Though not sanguine of winning any of the championships at the New Zealand meeting, at Chnstchurch, the Wellington Centre are bending a lepresentative team to compete The main idea is to encourage othei young fellows to come forward and compete at succeeding gatherings of the Centie, and also to help to make the New Zealand meeting a success. Mr. W. Coffey is being sent with, the team as manager. In acknowledging his services as secretary, the Centie made him a handsome donation as an appreciation of the value of those seivices. It is the intention of the Centre at their next gathering to introduce several important features, a special prize for the most scientific boxer being included! therein.
