The HJamerton Badge match on Saturday, proved a very interesting same, the genial "Billy" again steering his orew to victory. At the end of tihe fourth head Maok was one to Aver-'s ten, but on the next head Maok got seveau. He should have had the whole lot, but, getting very excited with the big hianld, put his last bowl down with tihe wrong bias, for which he was duly penalised. Joe was lying four on tine final head, but, with has laJst shot, very foolishly knocked up one of his opponents' bowls into ai scoring position. Result — Maok 25, Avery 20. For the Towrrsend Buckles (first game this season), Norwood and Braokenridge made a vaßant effort, but fell five short of the total put up by the holders, Dixon and ML okay. These two pliyea-s held the buckles for a considerable time last season. — 24-19. Hueston got a big drubbing from Redstone, who was very ably assisted l by tihe venenable "Kiltie."— 22-10. In the game skippered by Hamerton and MaoMorran, it was a contest between England and Scotland, the Scotties going under. — 23-18. Townsiend, who played a cood game wittih hard luck, had to take second place to SnaJddon. — 21-13. Gooder's defeat of Page — 26-13 — was, in a large measure, due to the excellent play of his leader a player who intends to carry off the Senior Singles this season.
