Referring to> District Order of 9th June, the Heretaunga Mounted Rifle Volunteers will form the Escoit for His Excellency the Governor on Coronation Day, the 9th instant, and will be formed up foi that purpose at Government House, at 11.40 a.m. 2. The General Officer Commanding dneots that H.M. A 7 eterans will form the Guard of Honour for His Excellency on Coronation Day. They will accordingly be dra.wn up for this purpose at Basin Resiervei by noon, under the command of Captain George Beamish, late H.M. 14th Regiment. 3. The General Parade will be formed up not later than 10.30 a.m. in ' mass of quarter column" by the left, m Whitmore'-street, the head of the mass close up to Lambton Quay. Officers commanding battalions and corps will carefully examine the pouches of the rank and file, after which blank ammunition will be issued. The officer commanding each company will hand to the staff officer collecting the reports, a slip, in pencil, showing the number of (a) officers and (b) men of his corps actually present on parade STUART NEWALL, (Colonel).
